EUROSLATE extracts and processes daily from their own quarries, many cubic metres of slate. With experience acquired over generations and with the seriousness that distinguishes Management, only perfect blocks of slate are used for processing and preparing slabs to be sold. Blocks with even the smallest imperfections, which could compromise the quality of processed slabs, are discarded and, cut in smaller pieces that can be moved by hand, and would be destined to open-air dumps with the burden of environmental degradation caused by such dumps. These blocks are ideal for cladding reinforced concrete walls (they can be flaked on site to the desired thickness) or in building restraining walls for small embankments in gardens, flowerbeds, borders and terraces.
