Nothing simpler or even more sober than a series of octagonal slate slabs marked by square white Carrara marble tozzetti, one after the other at constant intervals. Before us is one of the most beautiful palaces of Genoa: Palazzo San Giorgio, symbol of the city’s maritime and mercantile vocations, restored by Alfredo D'Andrade.
